Well . . .

…s, yet I first heard the term “ceasefire” for an active conflict in the week following October 7th. When Israel began bombing Lebanon — after a Hezbollah rocket killed 12 children playing soccer and displaced tens of thousands in northern Israel — it was only then that the international community became concerned about a ceasefire. This leads me to my next point.

Well . . . which international community, because Ireland for example has always held their ground for peaceful resolution and an end to the carnage against innocent civilians.
