That alone disqualifies Newsom from the race. I’m uncertain why he was even considered in the first place. Hasn’t California’s leadership been widely criticized for the last decade on a number of issues from both sides of the aisle? The same disqualification applies to Corey Booker, Raphael Warnock, and Roy Cooper — none of them have been an integral member of the administration.
