This makes sense to me.

hts in a common ph… like being excluded from the single greatest English-language phrase associated with Mexican food. In May 2023, they petitioned the US Patent and Trademark Office to cancel the trademark on the basis that “nobody should have exclusive rights in a common phrase”.
