Joan, a Catholic mother
of eight, from Belfast
made the perfect cuppa tea,
letting the kettle simmer
to wet the tay, before
pouring in the cold milk,
then asking the soldiers,
“Aye, would love a wee cuppa, now?
holding out a Celtic Peacock Mug
in peace.
